YOUR KILLER IS…

Sharing is Caring

TAKE QUIZ AGAIN

Art is collaborative.

Even if you lay a golden egg, it's not going to hatch a goose until someone comes along and fertilizes it (is that how geese breeding works? You get the metaphor).

Professionals know this secret…

You need to involve others before, during, and after every major project.

This means trusting people to brainstorm with you, provide fresh ideas, and offer critiques.

Action Plan

  1. Grab a rough draft or uncompleted work.

  2. Ask three trusted friends or peers for feedback on it. Tell them the goal you had in mind for the work, and ask them if it accomplishes that goal.

  3. Take their responses, review them, and incorporate that feedback into a new draft.

Do this for every project, forever.

When you start a project, run the idea by somebody and brainstorm with them for a bit.

During projects, get input and feedback throughout.

When you're done, DEFINITELY ask for people's thoughts!
