Like it or not, there have been other artists before you.

There have even been people who studied those artists their whole lives.

And they've figured out a lot of cool stuff. 

The type of stuff that can up your game. 

Whether it's learning the structure behind a screenplay or how melody really works, getting advice from the experts can help.

Action Plan

1. This month, find an audiobook or podcast about the thing you do and listen it to it. Make sure the writer/host is actually an expert and not just an enthusiast.

2. When you finish the first one… find another, and repeat.

3. Take a class in the thing you do. If you can't afford a class, find a YouTube channel that teaches the thing.
